- The christening of Princess Aurora is being celebrated, Fairy Lila and other fairies have been invited, except Fairy Carabosse, whom Cantalabutte, has forgotten to invite. Outraged, Carabosse casts an evil spell, "When the Princess turns 16, she will prick herself with a needle from a spinning wheel and sleep for 100 years." The spell is broken when the Lilac Fairy tells what happened to Prince Desiré and he kisses Aurora. To celebrate the wedding, joyful festivities are prepared where characters from well-known tales will dance.
